Confused African Leaders

Confused African Leaders
02.05.2020 LISTEN

Before Presidential Elections in, especially in so-called "Democratic Jurisdiction" in Africa critical and open-minded observers with understanding of political tools, tactics and basics cannot be blinded by the "Light" that Flagbearers of Political Parties want to be shine on them; while in fact, deep darkness follows their political ambitions.

To establish hospitals, schools, universities, reducing the debts burden, limiting inflation rate, increasing the numbers of jobs etc. as seen in Africa by Politicians, Presidents and supporters of political parties as great achievements for which the Presidents and his parties need to be praised and cheered for with dancing, jumping and songs is anything but to be highlighted for. African Presidents enjoy portraying themselves like a Messiah having improved the lives of their nations and see their intervention in "Democratic Settings" as a recommendation for another term in office and another round to steal national assets.

Like in the world of the White Man, the Black Man is in complete misunderstanding - and denial- of any intervention undertaken that this is only a normal and expected result of the mandate given to the Presidents and Parties. These "praised" interventions are financed not by any Presidents only by the people of a Nation and is only the outcome of, hopefully, hard and honest work.

No baker is praised or applauded for baking bread, no-cook for his meal, no taxi driver for his service, no bank manager for good savings results, no lawyer for a good defence. Someone decides for them, mandates them and pays for their work and service...not more, no less...simple! Presidents are the highest servant of a Nation...not more, no less and as such are to be seen as any other talented servant of a nation.

Visionary Leaders are few in this world. Today`s tendency to call Ridge Hospital, Kotoka International Airport, Nkrumah Circle Interchange, Komenda Sugar Factory; a dam, a factory in each district, confiscating of Galamsey excavators etc. as vision is a clear violation of the term "Vision". To liberate a country from Colonial Masters, ending Apartheid and slavery, setting up African Union and European Union, ending a war for good and have peace with old enemies, Communism of Karl Marx and Calvinism to promote free-market forces are out of the mind and heart of a person, never paid for by money, for which reason these can, with great honour, be praised by many and truly as such.

It is not only concerning that the vast majority of voters in African countries are analphabectis with a place in the national voters register eligible to cast their votes only but have the habit of praising their Presidents to the moon and back or as opposition condemn them to hell. Uneducated, untrained and inexperienced in political issues of life and Democracy these people easily vote for the nice candidate giving handouts like money, rice, cloths and sweet world to promise their lives will surely be better by voting him into Parliament hiding his idea to be an MP for himself which tells him to be rich in the shortest possible time being at the source of national assets and contracts to hand out in exchange for cash. Village folks struggling for survival each day trust such people again and again even knowing deep in their memory and heart that the smiling face on placates and the friendly man giving small tokens for free will, soon after the election abandon them...over and over again.

When will Africans learn?
