Veteran musician Akosua Agyapong, a member of the Music Council of Ghana (MCG), has disclosed that the association cannot in any way help or defend embattled Ekow Micah.

Speaking to Dr Cann on Showbiz Xtra on Happy FM, Akosua said, 'We don't have all the facts regarding his dealings with Asamoah Gyan. So we are waiting for the law to take its course so we see what we can also do. But remember it has nothing to do with music.'

According Akosua Agyapong, “It's a personal decision he took, so we are not coming in strongly because it's not like he called a musician and tried to swindle him. If it was music related, I would have had something to say about it but we don't know anything about this. It has nothing to do with music.'

Ekow Micah was arrested for allegedly trying to extort money from Asamoah Gyan’s camp in order to not to release the Black Star’s captain’s alleged sex tape with one Sarah Kwablah.

A substance suspected to be Indian hemp was found in his room during a search by Ghana Police, and he might be locked in the cooler for about five years if proven guilty.

Asamoah Gyan is known for his smash hit collaborations with Castro on 'Odo Pa' and 'African Girls'.

The embattled musician was initially picked up by the police to aid investigations into allegations of rape and sodomy against Black Stars Captain, Asamoah Gyan.

However, the police, during a search at his residence, found substances that have been confirmed as weed.

After appearing in court for possession of narcotics, Ekow Micah was remanded into police custody to reappear on August 20, 2015.
