Organisations or individuals may be holding Carols services this festive season solely for a religious obligation.

But for Integrity Magazine, it is strictly Carols for charity.

On Friday, December 14, 2018, the Botsio Hall of the Swiss Spirit Alisa Hotel in Accra was filled to capacity with persons from all walks of life.

They had gathered there for Integrity Magazine‘s Carols service aimed at raising funds in support of the Princess Marie Louise Children’s Hospital located in Accra.

The target was to raise at least GH¢ 40,000 to replace the hospital’s broken down X-rays machines and other essential equipment, as well as help pay for medical bills for some kids on admission at the hospital.

Rev. Kennedy Okosun, CEO of Krif Ghana Limited, in a welcome address, bemoaned the serious challenges facing the hospital, pointing out the need to support the facility.

Chairman of the Princess Marie Louise Hospital Governing Board, Father Andrew Campbell, used the occasion to appeal for help for children in need.

He also appealed to Christian parents to spend time with their children, lamenting high spate of broken homes across Ghana, which he said was leading many children to live on the streets.

Integrity Magazine is published by Krif Media, a subsidiary of stationary giant, Krif Ghana Limited.
