May the soul of Richard Taylor OBE, rest in peace. God knows that the most ambitious, brightest and best amongst Britain's younger generation of disadvantaged societal demographics, need beneficial levelling-up support of all kinds, to empower them to use their gifts and talents to bootstrap their own way to financial independence, and contribute their nation-building quota for a better Britain that way. That was the basis of the work of the Damilola Taylor Trust.

Heroes like Richard Taylor OBE, make a huge difference for the UK in that sense - and one hopes that the younger members of the Royal Family, will look out for the Richard Taylors across Britain and support them, in what is now a truly multiracial society.

In that light, going forward into the future, the Prince of Wales must now be matured enough, and be bold to have the nous and gumption to ignore the racist/fascist far-right media cultural warriors - and go out of his way to reconcile with his younger brother Harry, the Duke of Sussex, and his wife Megan, Duchess of Sussex: and ask them to move back permanently to the UK, to support their father King Charles, at what is a very, very difficult moment for a metaphorically beleaguered British Monarchy in real danger of becoming irrelevant.

That is why the Prince of Wales should make it a point to be present at the funeral of Richard Taylor, supported by his brother Prince Harry and Megan the Duchess of Sussex (and both sets of children of the two estranged royal brothers).

May the soul of Richard Taylor OBE rest in peace. One's thoughts and prayers are with his surviving family members, his colleagues at the Damilola Taylor Trust, the charitable organisation he set up to honour the memory of his beloved son Damilola (who bled to death after being stabbed with a broken bottle, aged 10, in 2000), and all those across the United Kingdom, whose lives were touched by his compassion for others and passion for common-good youth empowerment.
