WordDigest2021: Submit to God

"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7" KJV

As a son or daughter, if you have a problem you tell your parents for a solution.

In the same vein, as a child of God, if you have a problem, all you need is to submit to God with the conviction He has answers to your problem.

As you invite Jesus consistently into your situation, the Holy Spirit strengthens you to submit to Him and hence depend on His authority.

Being a joint heir with Christ, you should freely submit to God so that it will be easy for Christ to get rid of the devil and all kind of evil.

Where you do not submit to God, He cannot resist the devil and evil in your life. Eventually, you become an object of the devil's manipulations.

This has been a major problem why some believers cannot make progress. Some magnify the problem hence downplaying the power or authority of Christ.

Be different and learn to submit to God and the authority in your church and your state.
