Editor of Kotoko Express, Jerome Otchere has expressed his disappointment following the appointment of new technical handlers for the national teams.

According to him, some of the appointment made the Kurt Okraku and the Executive Council of the FA are not fit for purpose.

The FA on Tuesday named a new technical handlers for the national teams.

Speaking on the Ultimate Sports Show on Asempa FM, he said, “Kurt Okraku is the best person to explain these appointments to Ghanaians because all these people have been there and they fail to deliver,” he said.

“Why has the Ghana FA failed to confirm CK Akunnor’s appointment? We all know he has been given the job but for me, some of the appointment are not necessary.

“I have a personal problem with the committee to review national team conduct. It is disappointing because this is not what Ghanaians bargained for from this administration.

“I am calling on the media to point out the wrong things the FA is doing. This is not the new direction this administration promised us,” he added.

Mercy Tagoe has been reappointed as the head coach of the Black Queens whiles Paa Kwesi Fabin has been named the Ghana U-23 head coach.

Ibrahim Tanko has been asked to take charged of the Black Stars B.

However, former Sekondi Hasaccas head coach, Yusif Basigi has also been named as the head coach of the Black Princesses.

Other appointments were also made by the Ghana FA.
