Ghana Football Association President, Kurt Okraku, has congratulated the newly elected Asante Kotoko National Circles Chairman, Christopher Damenya.
Damenya, on Saturday, pulled 209 votes to beat his competitor Solomon Ofosu Ware who amassed 118 out of a total vote cast of 329.
Two votes, however, were rejected.
The Dreams FC bankroller, phoned the business mogul to congratulate him and wished him well as he leads the Porcupine Warriors supporters front for the next four years.
Kurt Okraku, however, assured the newly elected Asante Kotoko supporters chief of his support in office.
The overwhelming results mean that Christopher Damenya takes over from Kwaku Amponsah also known as chairman K5 as the new National Circles Chairman.
Meanwhile, Ghana League Club Association [GHALCA] chairman, Kudjoe Fianoo has also sent his congratulatory message to Mr Christopher Damenya.
