Tension Mounts In RTU

A member of supporters of Real Tamale United in tamale have expressed their displeasure about the happenings in the team.

Speaking to Kess Radio on the programma Kess sports centre, Mr. Farouk Issaku popularly known as Knanwu who happens to be the organizing secretary of channel 'O' mentioned a member of things which the supporters are not happy about

According to him the only thing that the board of directors total the supporters was that Mr. Herbert Mensah has secured51% share of the club at the cost of two billion five hundred thousand cedis(¢2.5bn). and nothing else. he stated that when they (the supporters) check the account of RTU however they didn't find the money. the supporters tears are therefore calling on the board of director to explain to them the where about and what gets into the ¢ 2.5bn.

He stated the since Mr. Herbert Mensah took one as the major stakes holder of the club he has never visited Tamale. The only person we see is Mr Haruna Mohammed who claim to be the special Assistant of Mr. Herbert Mensah helamented.

Again, Farouk stated that with the introduction of German Peter Dollman as the head Coach of the team, the supporters expected that former head coach Mr Gamel would have been made to assist him but rather the strategic mivestors have brought in Coach sule formely of Real sportive as his assistance coach Gamel has coach the team for over five years and whom ther was no money remained committed and loyal to RTU.

Now that ther is money, people would to know him out. This is unfair said the Channel 'O' secretary. He reitenated that most of the supporters are not anused abut the fact that most of the old players are been thrown out of the team.He went ahead to alleged that most of the new players that are being brought in are players managed by Mr. Haruna Mohammed. The RTU supporters have thus ask the board of chiretors to organze an emergency meeting to brief all the stake holders the current situation of the club to forestall nay misharp.

In another development Mr Emmaunel Dogbadzi a sports presenter of Daimond FM in Tamale alleged that, for allowing some supporters of RTU to air their opinions on his sport program Mr Haruna Mohammed attacked one of his panel members by name Zakaria Safiano and also threaded him to beware about what he says about RTU or else………………….

When Kess Radio contacted Mr. Haruna Mohammed for his side of the story, he refused to comment on the issue. He stated ''I don't want to comment on this problem ''I don't have any problem with anybody'' ''I don't have time to talk about irrelevant Issues''

''Why don't we talk about the good things that are happening in RTU? The questioned. Mr. Haruna added that individuals who have made it their agenda to thwart the effort of RTU will not have their way.
