Ghana League Clubs Association [GHALCA] chairman, Kudjoe Fianoo says he is unfazed by media reports of his exclusion for the Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) presidential race.
Media reports suggest that the former Ashgold chief has been advised to step down and throw his weight behind Phar Rangers CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah.
But the astute football administrator says he is not perturbed about the media speculations claiming that it is a tactic of his detractors.
“Nothing has changed in my decision to contest for the GFA presidency position," he told Kumasi FM.
“The roadmap has been given and I can only be questioned if I do not pick my forms to contest. I’m working underground.
“Reports that some government officials have intervened not for me to contest are just football politics.
“At my age, this is impossible. I know where they are coming from but I want to tell them I’m an old fox in the business.
“I will advise them to invest their energies in doing other things because this won’t work,” he concluded.
