Ghanaian midfielder Obeng Regan is elated to have lifted his first title with Croatian top flight outfit Inter Zapresic.
The former Asante Kotoko youth product was in outstanding form for Zapresic as they claimed the Medulin Cup after beating Lokomotiva Zagreb 1-0 in the final.
The 23-year-old enforcer could not hide his joy over his side's title triumph and intimated his desire to lay his hands on more silverware with the club when the second stanza of the league resumes this month.
'It is great to win my first trophy with Inter, I am very glad and I hope we can do more when the league starts for the second round,' Regan told footballmadeinghana.com
'Eight teams played the tournament and it was a good exercise for us to get to the finals, we have worked tirelessly and we are ready for the second half of the league.'
Obeng, who joined Inter Zapresic on loan from Serbian side FK Cukaricki last and went on to make seven appearances in the first round of the campaign.
