Accra, May 5, GNA - Mr Thomas Okine, Chief Executive Officer of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club has been asked to continue in office as head of the current Management Committee of the Club. The decision, which was taken at a joint meeting of the Management and Board of the Club unanimously rejected the resignation of Mr Okine as the Chief Executive Officer and Randy Abbey as the Public Relations Officer of the Club.
Mr Ernest Thompson, Board Secretary of the Club in a Press Release copied to the GNA Sports said consequently Mr Thomas Okine is to continue in office as the Chief Executive Officer of the Club. The Release said the Chief Executive Officer and his management team are therefore to either continue with their one year term of office till the end of the Premier league season or they will be in office till the time of the Club's Congress when the Directors who would be elected thereafter take any further decision on the management of the Club.
