Executive Council To Decide Who Becomes F.A. Boss

The Executive Council of Ghana Football Association would meet on Wednesday evening to fix the date to conduct polls to elect the chairman of the management board.

Sources close to the corridors of the Council disclosed to SPACE FM that it is likely the Council would settle on 7th or 8th April, 2004 for the polls, ahead of the F.A. Congress scheduled to take place on 15th and 16th April, 2004.

The two government nominees, Dr. Kofi Amoah and Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe are expected to appear before the council today. This interaction would pave way for the election.

Today's meeting marks the end of the three months extension given to Ben's Koufie administration at the expiration of his term in December, 2003.

J .Y. Appiah In South Africa For Super Top 4 Modalities

The chairman of Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), Mr. J. Y. Appiah is in South Africa at the invitation of South Africa Football Association to finalize modalities for the Super Top 4 expected to take place later this year.

By mutual agreement, the winners of top 4 in both countries would meet in South Africa settle for the champion of champions.

King Faisal and Kotoko would represent Ghana in the prestigious competition.
