Ghana's Under-20 side is expected to leave Accra on Friday for France ahead of the Toulon Youth Football Festival. The Black Satellites, who were silver medalist at the Australia 93n and Argentina 2001 World Youth Championships are reported to have hit top form and are set to cause a stir in the campaign. Coach Sulley is expected to leave with an 18-man contingent. The team produced a plucky performance to beat top allies – a first division team by six goals to nil in a friendly over the weekend and confidence is at a fever pitch ahead of the annual tournament. No team from the African continent has ever won the prestigious tournament but the Satellites believe they can snatch the trophy away from the likes of hosts, France, Portugal and the Netherlands.
