Nottingham Forest's promotion hopes have been dealt a severe blow after striker Junior Agogo was ruled out for the rest of the season.
The 27-year-old Ghana international, who has scored 10 goals for Forest this campaign, missed last Saturday's 3-0 win over Cheltenham and boss Colin Calderwood concedes that the former Bristol Rovers man is unlikely to feature again this season with a groin injury.
He told the club's official website: "I don't know the technical term for what he's got, but I know it's fairly serious and he's going to see a specialist tomorrow.
Agogo got injured during the 1-0 win over Gillingham on March 17 and was due to visit a specialist yesterday to find out the extent of the injury.
"He won't play in Bristol on Saturday and I don't think he'll be back by the end of the season. I think he's done."
