Mr Kwame Osei-Hwedie, a parent of one of the candidates, appealed to WAEC to take immediate steps to address the problem.

He told the GNA in an interview that most of the candidates needed the slips to process documents to gain admission to pursue further courses.

Mr John Amidini, Controller of the WAEC in the Ashanti Region, said the council posted many result slips to candidates but some were returned.

He urged the candidates to ensure that they gave genuine addresses to enable them to receive the slips.

Mr Amidani advised those who have not received their result slips to buy WAEC Direct Access Cards at its office to help them access their performances at the nearest Internet Café.
