Our hearts bleed, our eyes are all wet as we cry to know why our very own Ashanti leaders in the party are sidelining and, depriving us of what is due us and Ashanti in general.
Were they not the people we toiled with? I ask.
Were we not beaten together in demonstrations with them? I ask.
Were we not sleeping in bushes and deprived areas with them? I ask.
Were we not defending them even when they were indefensible? I ask.
Why the sudden u-turn?
Could it be that they have allowed themselves to be corrupted by the Akyem-Mafia to the neglect of their own people?
Or is it the fear of having to lose their positions if they own up to help their people? Hmmm
Remember 2020 is just around the corner. The people who helped you climb up the 2016 ladder will still be around.
