"So Judas threw the money into the temple and left. Then he went away and hanged himself"

[Matthew 27:5] NIV
Today the focus will be on how to slay the fourth invisible giant called guilt. Guilt is the awareness of having done wrong. The name Judas Iscariot rings a bell in our minds. Anytime the name is heard, people remember him as the betrayer of Jesus.

After Judas Iscariot's betrayal of Jesus to the sanhedrin for thirty silver of coins, he realised his wrong. In between events, events, he was living with a guilt and didn't know how to overcome it.

Judas went back to the sanhedrin, threw the money into temple and left. He couldn't bear the guilt, so he hanged himself.

Guilt has become an intolerable invisible giant in the lives people. The source of our guilt is one's inability to juxtapose what is right or wrong, what is legal or illegal and what is moral or immoral.

It is about time you break yourself from that prison of guilt. In doing so, do away with thoughts, feelings and decisions that could plunge you into guilt. Seek for help from an experienced person with a good solution to your problem. Do not do the wrong thing at the right time and never do the right thing at the wrong time.

If you are feeling guilty ask God through Christ Jesus for forgiveness and promise yourself not to repeat those acts of guilt.

In a nutshell, let the Holy Spirit direct your life onto the path of righteousness.

Prayer
Oh Lord Jesus, please have mercy on me. Direct my ways onto the path of goodness and righteousness, Amen.

Confession
Lord, you are a merciful God.
