Lynx Entertainment signee Kuami Eugene has been crowned as the overall artiste of the year at this year’s edition of the prestigious Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

The event which has been segmented into three parts by the organizers Charterhouse Ghana is scheduled to span for a period of three days started yesterday with intriguing performances from some renowned artistes including Sarkodie, Kofi Kinata, Eno Barony, Kofi Mole and others.

The usual structure of the event has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic which discourages a gathering of masses resulting in a change of activities and inability of the organizers to sell tickets for music lovers to attend the event.

Nevertheless, Charterhouse has sticked to the commitment and zeal to award industrious musicians and other sectors in the creative arts industry by overlooking the challenges in order to give out the awards.
