I Would Love To Play A Romantic Role With Joselyn Dumas – Bra Charles {yolo Tv Series}

One of the biggest platforms to receive an award in the Art industry is Ghana Movies Awards. This year’s edition came off on the 4^th of December, 2016 at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City; Accra which saw both the veteran and young Actors take home awards for their hard work in the year under review. While some of the previous editions received heavy criticisms, this year’s has been quite moderate, signaling strives the organizers are making towards reaching the zenith of event organization.

Among the “YOLO” cast which took some awards are; Queenstar Annafi {Emily}, John Peasah{Bra Charles} Aaron Adatsi{Cyrill}. Fella Makafui{serwaa}, etc

John Peasah a.ka Bra Charles who took the Best Supporting Actor Drama award in an interview with Kwaku B –de perfect gentleman on Anapua fm said he is glad to be part of the award winning TV series “YOLO” and thanked his Director, Mr. Ivan Quashigah for directing him to be the best.

“I was happy for the award. If you could remember, before Ghana Movie Awards, there was another award ceremony called Golden Movie Awards. ‘YOLO’ was nominated in a category with ‘Shampaign’, ‘V-Republic’ and ‘An African City’ but because it wasn’t public voting we lost the award to ‘SHAMPAIGN’, though during the presentation of the award the audience was shouting ‘Yolo, Yolo’. With Ghana Movie Awards, it was 100% public vote so when we took the award I was very happy because this one was decided by viewers”

Ending the interview on the most entertaining frequency in Brong Ahafo, Anapua 105.1 fm, Bra Charles prior to answering laughed to the question, “Among your senior Actresses whom would you love to play a romantic role with?”

“I would love to play a romantic role with either Joselyn Dumas or Regina Van Helvert of GHOne Rhythms - a role where they will be my sugar mummy will be fine”
