Bafana coach to help Bayana against Blackqueens

Steve Komphela, the assistant coach of Bafana Bafana, will guide Banyana Banyana during their opening African Women's Championships match against Ghana on September 18..

The match will be played at Caledonian Stadium in Pretoria.

Komphela has been roped as Augusto Palacios, the team's caretaker coach, will be away in Nigeria with the Under-19 national side Basetsana (The Girls). Basetsana will leave for Abuja early next week to play against Nigeria during the second leg of the Fifa Women's Under-19 Cup on September 17.

Nigeria won the first leg 1-0 in Pretoria to continue their dominance over South Africa. Palacios is also serving as Basetsana's physical trainer. William Seakamela is the coach of Basetsana.
