The World Wrestling Entertainment is owned and managed by Vince McMahon and his family. In the past, the WWE has produced great wrestlers, such as The Undertaker, Sting, Triple-H, John Cena, Goldberg, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Shaun Michaels, etc, who created an indelible print which made WWE dominate the wrestling world.

Among the current wrestlers, such as Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, Dolph Zigler, Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Finn Bálor, Braun Strowman, etc, that have made name for themselves, is Kofi Kingston, the Ghanaian born, Kofi Sarkodie-Mensah and one of the members of the group 'New Day.'

In WWE, each wrestler has a story to tell. Nobody had it easy to reach the top, even if coming from a wrestling family.

Kofi Kingston has overcome many obstacles to be one of the best wrestlers in the WWE. His fate changed when he was announced to replace the injured Mustapha Ali at the 'Elimination Chamber.' It was an opportunity Kofi Kingston grabbed.

Though he won the Tag Team Titles multiple times as a New Day member, he never achieved significant success as a single superstar. Underestimated by Vince McMahon, Kofi Kingston participated in a Gauntlet match before Elimination Chamber and defeated the WWE Champion Daniel Bryan and Samoa Joe, before being eliminated by AJ Styles.

He carried the momentum at Elimination Chamber as he lasted thirty-one minutes inside the steel cage. Considering his performance at Elimination Chamber, he became the number contender of Daniel Bryan, but Vince McMahon changed his mind when he replaced Kingston with Kevin Owens.

With the Gauntlet match, Kofi Kingston overcame some insurmountable tasks. That undoubtedly developed Kingston's underdog character before the Showcase of Immortals. Kofi Kingston made headlines Wrestlemania when he defeated Daniel Bryan. Since then he has successfully defended his title many times.

In what would be the biggest challenge in his title reign so far, the fans are curious if Kofi Kingston can defeat Brock Lesnar.

Brock Lesnar, everyone knows is one of the strongest wrestlers in the world. An extremely wicked wrestler with a blend of power, athleticism, agility, and a fearsome presence, always ready to shed blood.

He has also made a name in the ring of the UFC. Even though Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins have defeated Brock Lesnar in their wrestling careers, Braun Strowman, who is known to be equally strong couldn’t defeat Brock Lesnar. Kofi Kingston now has to defend his title against this beast, the question is can he defeat Brock Lesnar?

It all started, last week Brock Lesnar and his manager, Paul Hayman entered the ring after the group New Day defeated Randy Orton and the team The Revival. Hayman announced that his client is calling Kingston for a WWE title match on Friday, October 4, As part of the SmackDown evening show, the event will be broadcast for the first time on the FOX channel.

In response, Kingston promised that he would participate in the fight and accept the challenge made to him. After receiving Kingston’s consent, Lesnar quickly grabbed Kofi by surprise and demonstrated his crown reception of F5, leaving Kofi in pain in the center of the ring.

WWE Champion Kofi Kingston took to Twitter with strong words for Brock Lesnar after the attack on Rey Mysterio and his son Dominick during this Monday's RAW season premiere. Kofi called Lesnar a "reckless, egotistical, asshole" and said he's looking to make Lesnar go away forever.

"Facing @brocklesnar this Friday was about challenging myself & further solidifying my WWE Title reign. As a father, after watching what he did to @reymysterio & his child, now it's about beating a reckless, egotistical, asshole & making him go away forever. Let's go," Kofi wrote.

Paul Heyman responded to Kofi's tweet with a personal message from his client, taking a shot at Kofi and The New Day. Heyman wrote, "A personal message from my client @BrockLesnar to @TrueKofi... you ain't man enough. All 3 of the #NewDay combined ain't man enough. Kiss your title ... and your ass ... goodbye!"

Confident Kofi Kingston said, “One thing that I learned about myself is that I like to prove that people are wrong. Not as “I told you”, but as a reminder that nothing is impossible. Next Friday I will get a chance to prove that many people are wrong. And those who believe in me, I can prove that they are right!”

“When I do this, we hope that both believers and unbelievers will see that it is possible that they too will be able to overcome the "impossibilities" that they face in their own lives.” He continued.

This will be Kingston's second match against Lesnar. Earlier, on July 4, 2015, Lesnar defeated Kofi at the Beast in the East PPV competition from Tokyo, Japan, which was broadcast live as part of a special WWE network.
