Nana Addo Begins 3 Days Touring Of Greater Accra Today
President of the Republic of Ghana His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo begins his tour of the Greater Accra Region today, Tuesday December 4, 2018. The tour of the Country’s capital will run through tomorrow and end on Thursday December 6, 2018.
The President’s tour this week follows his inspection of various projects and facilities around the other Regions. His recent tour was in the Eastern Region last month.
For his tour of the Greater Accra, President Nana Addo is expected to visit a number of constituencies including Krowor, Tema East, La Dadekotopon, Korle Klottey, Adentan, Okaikoi South, Odododiodoo, Ablekuma South, Ablekuma Central, Anya Sowutuom and Bortianor/Ngleshie/Amanfro.
The first gentleman of the land will also take time to inspect ongoing projects under the One District-One Factory programme such as Entrance Pharmaceuticals and Research Centre, Sunda, and Ever pure.
Other projects include the Tema Motorway Roundabout construction, works on the concrete road at Tema Industrial Area, construction of the Madina-Adentan highway footbridges, the Accra railway construction, construction of the Jamestown Harbours and the construction of 25 affordable housing project.
He will additionally inaugurate the Accra Metropolitan Assembly office complex as well as the Accident and Burns Centre at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital and cut the sod for the construction of Tema-Newtown roads.
On completion of this Regional tour, the President would have toured all ten Regions of the Country in the year 2018.
