Bomfa (Ash), Dec. 5, GNA - Mr Yaw Ahenkora Afrifa, Ejisu-Juaben District Chief Executive, has called on the people of the District to give President John Agyekum Kufuor and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) 100 per cent votes in Tuesday's Presidential and Parliamentary elections. He said farmers in particular should give the NPP their massive votes in view of the good work the Government had done for them. Mr Afrifa was inaugurating three boreholes at Bomfa sunk at the cost of 52 million cedis each and a block of six classrooms at Okorase built at the cost of 350 million cedis, nurses' quarters and two boreholes at Kwaso.
The nurses' quarters cost 300 million cedis to build. The DCE said the District Assembly would build more nurses' quarters at Bomfa after the NPP had been returned to power and, therefore, asked for the people to support the Government. The Chiefs and people expressed their appreciation to the Government for the provision of the facilities and expressed the hope that it would continue with the good work it had started.
