Critics Of Martin Amidu And Ken Agyapong Has Been Proved Wrong

The ruling by the Supreme Court of Ghana on a Judicial Review brought before it by the former Attorney General, Mr. Martin Amidu against Alfred Agbesi Woyome, means the Ndc financier got the money out of an invalid and unconstitutional contract.

Upon careful thought one could deduce that the payment of the dubious money to Woyome was carefully orchestrated by the Ndc government to siphon state funds for their own wellbeing. It is clear that the circumstances in which the GHc 51million was paid to Woyome is scandalous and criminal. Then again, is that not the way the Ndc uses to steal state money?

Look at the corrupt money which was paid to Waterville, to Isofothon, the Sada and Subah debacles, just to mention but a few.

Any layman would be able to tell that here was no contract with Woyome by the government, and no work was done, how then can reasonable government officials connive with Woyome to defraud the nation?

From the Financial Administration Act 2003 (Act 654), we learn that any government official who conspires with another to defraud the state commits an offence. Woyome from what happened, although got his fair share of the money, was only a contractor, used as a bait to get to the money. Fact is, he was not working at the office of the Attorney General department and neither was he the Attorney General. Again he was not working at the Finance Ministry nor was he the Minister of Finance and also the Governor of the Bank of Ghana.

Clearly, it comes to the fore that Woyome didn´t act alone and was dully supported by:

· - Betty Mould Iddrisu (Former Attorney General),

· - Ebo-Barton Oduro (Former Deputy Attorney General),

· - Kwabena Dufour (Former Finance Minister), not forgetting

· - Henry Martey Newman (Former Chief of Staff), and

· - Amissah Arthur (Former Govenor of Bank of Ghana).

These people swindled the people of Ghana, even though they knew Woyome had no contract with the government. What they did was using their educational background, their experience in public service and political leadership to condone and connive with a criminally-minded self acclaimed Financial Engineer. As to what that 'profession' (Financial Engineer) means only God knows.

What we know today is that with their support of these nation wreckers, Woyome was a hero who was worshiped by the Ndc government, and its propaganda communicators. They took Ghanaians for fools and went ahead to unlawfully pay huge judgment debts to those who did not deserve to be paid.

Kennedy Agyapong has been vindicated for exposing the fraudulent deals in the payment of the GHc51million to Woyome. What happened to Martin Amidu, after coming out to open the corrupt deals of the Ndc government? He was fired by the Ndc government led by former President Mills under the watch of corrupt Mahama. Kudos to Martin Amidu, aka Vigilante Citizen! May our Lord Almighty guide, bless and strengthen him.

John Mahama and his appointees continue to dabble in pervasive corruption and all they know is create-loot-and-share business, economic mismanagement, profligacy, exhibition of poor political leadership rather than addressing the high cost of living, labour agitation, unemployment, absurd inflation rate, and what have you.

Ghana needs a saviour to uproot these cancers from our political leadership, and the best politically astute man to do that is the incorruptible Nana Akuffo Addo of the NPP.

Just as I was about to sign off, this thought came in mind. The money Woyome has to pay should be more than GHc 51million. If the initial amount was $31 million, he (they) should be made to pay based on the current exchange rate
