Putin's defeat is Africa's downfall

Vladimir Putin has annexed four Ukraine regions after referendums during the war fights. Voters had fled the regions in their numbers and transparent ballot boxes were taken from door to door for voting under heavy military protection. The UN charter is very clear on such developments and by the original version, not a Russian translation, the referendums are not worth any thought.

But on the other hand, it is an exciting development raising questions about Africa's future in world history. This move by Vladimir Putin is a clear sign of his fear to have made a big mistake and wants to be seen by his people still as the strong leader in control of his mind and action. It becomes more and more obvious that soon he will be defeated by internal opposition.

African countries have shown no interest in the war, justified it as legitimate, or even applauded the invasion of Russia into Ukraine with many civilian lives lost or tortured. They argued that the past was even worse for them at the hands of the colonial masters and that Russia was never a destructive force in Africa but rather a helping hand. This is a big gamble for some African leaders.

In the scenario that Vladimir Putin will be defeated by his people and by the Ukrainians on the troubled grounds of being financially empty but in need of feeding the Russians first and foremost what will the people of the former colonial masters and their allies think about Africa and treat the black continent? Will their gambling mentality stand the test of time and moral values of the highest order or let Africa fall back into darkness and lose its voice as a creator of a better world?

No one can be married to more than one wife or have girlfriends all across the globe and not be seen as a cheater that loves the wind of time and the money involved.

As for Africa and its move forward in world politics, this is the time to demonstrate its moral, strategic, political, and visionary leadership or stay mute for generations to come and see the open door to glory and world dominion be slammed right into the faces of the African people with fingerprints of their leaders all over the door to glory.
