Tomorrow, July 23 , one of Ghana's finest musicians, John Q, will stage a live performance to thrill music fans who will attend the launch of his latest album, ' Jamaica To Ghana', at Rythmz, located at Tesano near the Abeka Total Filling station in Accra.
The album launch, which is planned to promote John Q and his work, is expected to attract a large number of stakeholders in the music industry, fans of John Q, radio DJs and presenters, musicians, among others.
John Kwesi Quansah aka John Q was born and raised in Accra.
The songs on the album, ranging from reggae, hiplife, dance hall and reggae jazz fused with good rhythms, are intended to woo all lovers of music who will grace the album launch.
John Q, who was inspired by the lyrics of the late Bob Marley, left the shores of Ghana for New York after his secondary education to pursue his musical career.
He worked as a song writer and an executive producer and produced Mellow Wayne's gospel album titled ' Life Journey '. He produced a strong reggae album titled ' Reggae Storm ' in 2008.
John Q currently produces Mellow Wayne (Gospel & Reggae singer), Jah Tempo, Lady S, Tilly Beng and Evelyn Kwakye (Gospel Singer).
