One of Ghana's leading information technology retailers Compughana has hosted finalists of this year's Miss Ghana 2010 beauty pageant competition to a day's familiarization tour of the company's products and service at their Osu, Oxford Street head office.

Fuelled by the brand's resolve to use the Miss Ghana brand as a tool to create awareness of the existence of Compughana two years after it had opened its first branch, the visit saw all twenty finalists spend quality time with the management and staff of the company and asked salient questions bordering on Compughana's association with the competition.

A photo opportunity with the top brass of the company was enough to put smiles on the faces of workers, staff and the contestants.

Led by its Sales Manager extraordinaire Haissam Kasser and Samantha Addy, Showroom Managress, the contestants had an up-close feel of products available for sale.

From ipods, ipads, mobile phones, television sets and computers, Compughana's stock-in-trade opens it up to a large clientele base including corporate bodies and individuals.

“Compughana decided to come on board the Miss Ghana competition because we felt it was just about the only pageant the Ghanaian people can associate themselves with. As a growing brand, it offers us the opportunity to create awareness and reach our target market,” said Hassaim.

His comments were re-echoed by the Showroom Managress who expressed her happiness at the way the event continues to grow by the day and the benefits Compughana stands to gain as a sponsor.

Compughana's association with the competition will see the company donating laptops for the 4th to 8th finalists. The computers, the management of the company believes, will help in the research of the various projects to be embarked on by the contestants. Given the importance of ICT in today's learning environment, the support from Compughana has come in handy and could go long way to making communication as a major tool for all the winning finalists, that easy.
