Popular Nigerian music executive, singer, and Mavin record label CEO, Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, says he is a shy type.

The famous entertainer said his line of work shouldn’t have been someone who mostly appears on camera because that is something he doesn’t like.

In an interview with media personality Hauwa Magaji, Don Jazzy noted that he has now worked hard to adapt to the celebrity lifestyle but still finds it difficult to speak in public places.

He reveals that he usually turns down public speaking invitations if the audience is huge but only accepts if the audience is very small.

The Marvin Record label boss stressed that he doesn’t like going on Instagram Live but is cool with the app and others like Tiktok.

Don Jazzy said, "I am not supposed to be an artiste. I and the camera don’t agree. However, I am better now. I actually prefer social media platforms such as Tiktok and Instagram.

"I turn down public speaking invitations all the time. If the people in the room are just about 20 or 30 people and it is a question-and-answer session, I can do it. I don’t even like going live on Instagram."
