In a commendable posture, the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has quickly responded to singer Fameye’s recent ordeal about adulterated fuel.

The "Nothing I Get" crooner says he was given adulterated fuel for GHS 700 , which has now destroyed his car engine.

In a tweet on Thursday, March 16, the award-winning singer revealed that he has since spent more than GHS7,000 repairing the car, a Honda Pilot touring 2019 model but still unresolved.

According to him, the car seems like it can never be brought back to life again, which leaves him confused as to what decision to take at this moment of his life.

“So few days ago ,I go buy fuel for one fuel station ,700 cedis, the rest is heartbreaking,” his post began.

“They filled my tank with water mixed with petrol as I’m talking to you now my car Honda pilot touring 2019 model is spoilt Spent 7k already still not working!!! What do I do?” he narrated.

The regulator of the petroleum sector, NPA has urged him to release the details of the said fuel station.

The NPA has posited that there is no way they can help fix the situation if the singer is not ready to cooperate with them.

In a six-point post on Twitter, the NPA revealed that it has already reached out to the singer but his camp is not ready to involve them but has rather resolved to treat the matter their own way by going on social media.

“The unwillingness of Fameye's management to cooperate with the NPA's Consumer Services Department by providing key information, such as the name and location of the retail outlet in question makes it impossible for the Authority to proceed with investigation into the case.

“Fameye’s management team further stated that it would handle the case by itself,” read a portion of the post.
