"That’s silly" – Nigerian media personality Moet Abebe scolds people who lie about their age

Popular Nigerian media personality Moet Abebe condemned age falsification.

The vocal broadcaster said it is silly and shameful for anybody to hide his or her real age for whatever reason.

In a Snapchat story, Miss Abebe intimated that people with such attitude need to put an end to it because it makes no sense.

“Lol lying about your age I feel is so silly... like lie about anything but your age... like didn't ppl grow up with you? Makes O sense but ayyyyyyy wetin I sabi????” she quizzed.

According to reports, the rants are part of a dispute involving a BBNaija star, Chinenyenwa Desire Okoebor, also known as Chi Chi’s new age.

Chi-Chi is reported to be 23 years old today, Tuesday, January 10.

“Officially worlds chichi’s day 23 and blessed,” the 23-year-old reality TV star wrote with stunning photos of herself on the photo-sharing app (Instagram).

However, Chichi's new age was met with mixed reactions as cybernauts dug up the reality TV star's throwback photos from 2014, which were posted on her Facebook page.

Per some of the photos, Chichi, who claims to be 14 years old, was already looking much older than a 14-year-old, eliciting a variety of reactions from netizens, with many criticising her.
