The Frafra music legend, King Ayisoba on Prime Morning Live on Friday threw heavy jabs on the place and weight of Sarkodie and other musicians in the Music industry.
Speaking on whether or not he had had any collaborations with contemporary artists, like Kidi, Sarkodie, and Kuame Eugene, King Ayisoba did not relent to question who they were in the Music industry and the value they could bring with them a collaboration.
“Who be Sarkodie, who be Kidi, Me before I came into Ghana music where were day?”
He disclosed that having gone international and played on several important platforms, he did not see why he should be the one to contact these “baby musicians” for a collaboration. If there will be anything short of a collaboration, his expectations will be that they contact him and not the other way round.
Sarkodie for the records has had 176 local and international awards nominations and won 100 of them as of 2019. In October 2019 he became the first artist to win won Best International Flow at the BET hip hop awards.
But here is the thing, King Ayisoba says, “who be Sarkodie”? Could this be the beginning of I feud, I hope not.
