Kobina Ansah's Hit Play, The Boy Called A Girl, Returns This August
Listen to article

Covid19 has come to change a lot about us and one of the areas most affected is live theatre. Shows have been suspended for the past few months and it looks like it may remain so until restrictions are further eased.

However, in a Facebook post, Ghanaian playwright, Kobina Ansah, has suggested that his play, THE BOY CALLED A GIRL, will be shown again this August.

The playwright is known for exciting plays such as This Family Is Not For Sale and I Want To Sue God among others.

Will The Boy Called A Girl be live? Are theatres already open? Will it be online since most production houses are now taking their works online?

Fingers crossed.
