If today were a Thursday, these throwback photos would certainly make a lot more sense. But throwback photos don’t always have to be on Thursdays.

Sarkodie released some photos this morning of his musical struggles in the past — what he calls ‘the bleeding period.’ If you compare these photos to the present day Sarkodie, you’ll notice a huge difference.

The mere fact that he has different names for these periods makes the point clear. He calls his present experience ‘the feeling period.’ That’s probably the period in which most of us knew him. We didn’t know much about his bleeding period until the feeling period arrived. Hence, Sarkodie takes us to that period by informing us about it and asking us not to give up on it, because the feeling period awaits us. He writes, ‘the bleeding period vs the feeling period. Now don’t tell me you giving up.’
