I Was Overwhelmed With Joy - Mother Of MTN Hitmaker 6 Winner Reveals

Mother of Freda Rhymz, MTN Hitmaker Season 6 winner has said she was very happy after her daughter emerged winner of the reality show.

Madam Evelyn Serwaah speaking with Suncity Radio's Nana K. Gordon said no words can describe her happiness.

"I was very happy. In fact no words can describe my feelings and happiness. People who were close to me at that time did not understand. One man said they should get hold of me due to how I reacted after she was announced as the winner," she recounted.

Madam Evelyn Serwaah expressed her sincere appreciation for the unflinching support from the people of Brong Ahafo.

"We appreciate the support and love that the people showed to Freda.Thanks to anybody who contributed towards her victory.”

Freda Rhymz known in private life as Freda Baffour Awuah won the MTN Hitmaker Season 6 a month ago after she beat Drew, Yaw Berk and Xali.

She is the first lady to win the competition since its inception.

She grabbed Ghc 100,000 recording deal and a music video management

which is worth $5000.
