Some celebrities in Kumasi who benefited from the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC) are daring the leadership of MASLOC to go on with its move to publish their names in the dailies.

According to them, they are unperturbed by the decision to publish their pictures and names on the various media portals.

Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC) has disclosed that it will deal with some entertainment personalities for failing to pay for cars they bought on credit.

Maame Afua Akoto, Deputy CEO of MASLOC, stated in a Facebook post that, “Please inform all celebrities with MASLOC cars to kindly rush to honour their obligations. The time is ticking, Tag and share.”

Maame Afua Akoto stated that some celebrities have not paid a dime since they received the cars.

But SeanCitygh.com in a chat with some of the celebrities who have some of the cars in their custody hinted of taking legal actions against MASLOC leadership if they attempt to use rough means to retrieve the cars from them.

One of them who spoke on condition of anonymity disclosed that, he and some other celebs were given the cars as an endowment from the then Minister of Tourism, Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu Agyare during the electioneering campaign.

‘’Some of us were given the car as a gift from the minister and there wasn’t anything like we are taking the cars on loan or something of that sort, not at all. Let me state it emphatically that, it wasn’t a loan. The records are there, ‘’ he fumed.
