Letter To Dr. Jean-Paul Mira And Dr. Camille Locht: Hands Off Africa, With BCG (Coronavirus) Vaccine Test
My fellow Africans the entire world and its experts are still amazed at why Africa is not brought to her knees by COVID-19 pandemic.
It is true we don't have the sophisticated health facilities and infrastructure but for whatever reason, we are holding on with COVID-19.
Let us say no to attempt by any form of the axis of evil that will want to use Africans as test pigs at this moment in time.
We have so many issues we have to deal with. Yes, we allowed so many stuff on this continent due to few greedy & blind leaders, and some professionals. This time lets, say No!
Dr. Jean- Paul Mira and Dr. Camille Locht your submission on LCI on 1st April can only be April-fool right? Your proposal and intent to make Africa part of your test with BCG won't work this time.
Dr. Mira what really was your intent when you said this "𝐼𝑓 𝐼 𝑐𝑎𝑛 𝑏𝑒 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑣𝑜𝑐𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑒, 𝑠ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑𝑛'𝑡 𝑤𝑒 𝑏𝑒 𝑑𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑠𝑡𝑢𝑑𝑦 𝑖𝑛 𝐴𝑓𝑟𝑖𝑐𝑎, 𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑛𝑜 𝑚𝑎𝑠𝑘𝑠, 𝑛𝑜 𝑡𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑡𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑠, 𝑛𝑜 𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑢𝑠𝑐𝑖𝑡𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛? 𝐴 𝑏𝑖𝑡 𝑙𝑖𝑘𝑒 𝑖𝑡 𝑖𝑠 𝑑𝑜𝑛𝑒 𝑒𝑙𝑠𝑒𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑒 𝑠𝑡𝑢𝑑𝑖𝑒𝑠 𝑜𝑛 𝐴𝐼𝐷𝑆. 𝐼𝑛 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑡𝑢𝑡𝑒𝑠, 𝑤𝑒 𝑡𝑟𝑦 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑠 𝑏𝑒𝑐𝑎𝑢𝑠𝑒 𝑤𝑒 𝑘𝑛𝑜𝑤 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑦 𝑎𝑟𝑒 ℎ𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑙𝑦 𝑒𝑥𝑝𝑜𝑠𝑒𝑑 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑦 𝑑𝑜 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑡𝑒𝑐𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑚𝑠𝑒𝑙𝑣𝑒𝑠."
Are these all that makes Africa a testing ground because we lack many things as you listed, but you are not concerned to find out what factors could account for why COVID-19 isn't ravaging us.
Please Dr. Locht, what really made you to agree to this statement " 𝑌𝑜𝑢 𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑟𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡, 𝑤𝑒 𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑖𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑜𝑓 𝑎 𝑝𝑎𝑟𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑙 𝑠𝑡𝑢𝑑𝑦 𝑖𝑛 𝐴𝑓𝑟𝑖𝑐𝑎 𝑡𝑜 𝑢𝑠𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑠𝑎𝑚𝑒 𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑎𝑐ℎ 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝐵𝐶𝐺 𝑝𝑙𝑎𝑐𝑒𝑏𝑜𝑠."
Your words have cut through our hearts and woken us from our slumber. The test isn't a conspiracy theory anymore. Now your intention is clear and no more a secret
Scientists and researchers in Africa arise and show us the substance you are made of, we don't have everything you need but Africa is all we got.
Dr. Mira and Dr. Locht hands off mama Africa, keep your trials within the scope of your region with the pandemic and let us deal with our myriad of challenges.
Arise sons and daughters of Mama Africa, let us step up our A-game
African leaders, the season to show us leadership which is the citizen-centered is now.
I salute Didier Drogba and Samuel Eto'o for your response and expression of disapproval.
Together we can win.
