NPP's arrogance to admit defeat in parliamentary elections!

The NPP is not been truthful with Ghanaians and have now cut out a word call ''working majority''. It is absolutely insane for people who have the opportunity of been educated by the country's tax money to be misinforming Ghanaians on simple arithmetic.

The NPP is taken advantage of the high illiterate Ghanaians it has made to catapult an unsubstantiated myth in the minds of Ghanaians for the purpose of winning political power by all means to the greed and selfish interest of Akufo Addo and his cronies.

The standing orders of parliament rightfully states that "the majority leader is the MP elected by the PARTY or PARTIES with majority of seats in parliament. The catch words are "PARTY" or "PARTIES". This presupposes that a number of parties can come together to form the majority in the case of "PARTIES" or a single party can form a majority on it's own.

Currently, there are 4 parties represented in parliament - NDC,NPP,PNC and CPP.

At the moment, NDC has 114 seats, NPP has 107 seats, PNC has 2 seats and CPP has 1 seat. There are 2 seats outstanding. Even if PNC and CPP join the NPP and the NPP also wins the 2 outstanding seats, their total number of seats will be 112, which is less than NDC's 114. clearly, the NDC is the PARTY with the majority of seats. The other PARTIES (assuming PNC and CPP join NPP) will have only 112 seats.

Remember, Independent MPs are not a PARTY and therefore do not factor into the computation. That's why they're called "INDEPENDENT".

It is therefore disingenuous on the Ghanaian for NPP to be moving around claiming they shall control parliament forgetting that some of the Independent MP's precisely ''Shaaba'' of Nkawkaw and CPP MP elect for Jomoro Samia Nkrumah has stated their neutrality in parliament and vote base on issues.

The fact of the case is that, NDC shall appoint Majority leader and also appoint Speaker of Parliament. Case is finished!
