The Real Grace Omaboe and Peace and Love Orphanage

The clarity of Grace Omaboe conduct and operation of an orphanage under the name and style of Peace and Love Orphanage in Adenta should be made known to discerning ghanaians so we can expose people who cloud themselves in disguise of charity but uses such platform for their greedy selfish interest.

Peace and Love Orphanage with just a Google search will reveal stories by westerners who have volunteered in the institution. They complain of the inhuman treatment of the children and lack of care. Meanwhile, Omaboe received monetary contributions to take care of the children from westerners and some has taken the children as their son/daughters and make monthly monetary contribution for their upkeep. Why the neglect and lack of care?

On Thursday 5th February 2009, Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit of Ghana Police Service charged Grace Omaboe for exposing some inmate of her orphanage to danger and for abuse of the children. For those of us with eagle eyes, this has been long over due.

The political prostitute who has been switching from one political party to the other is raising unnecessary alarm on this legal procedural act by the Ghana Police and Social Welfare Department by attributing it to Political witch hunting.

Under Ghana's laws, owners of orphanages are the legal guardian of the inmates and assume parenthood role and responsibility. According to the Police, the licence of the operation of the orphanage has expired since March 2006 and has not been renewed.

The Social Welfare Department has since closed down The Peace & Love Orphanage belonging to Grace Omaboe aka Maame Dokono after an eight year old boy allegedly sodomised a six month old baby.

In all these revelations and after my readers have conducted their own searches in seacrch engines on the internet, you will know the true hypocrisy of Omaboe.
