Eugene Arhin in the business of impacting all Awutu Senya West communities

"I must work the work of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh when no man can work," says Jesus Christ.

The greatest teacher passed this comment in response to a blame game question from his disciples. During one of their evangelical trips, they saw a blind man who had been blind from birth.

Just like some people today, the disciples were not concerned about what could be done to deliver the blind man from his pathetic plight; they were rather looking for who to blame so they asked: "Master, who did sin, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?"

Contrary to their blame game attitude, Jesus Christ was rather concerned about the welfare of the man so he made it clear to them that there was no time for complaints and went ahead to heal the man.

Without equating the Director of Communications at the Presidency, Mr Eugene Arhin to Jesus Christ, I can say with confidence that his attitude to the problems of the people of Awutu Senya West Constituency is just like Jesus' to the blind man in question.

While many are complaining about who did not do what and who should have done what, Mr Arhin is busily doing what he can do to impact lives in the Awutu Senya West Constituency.

As a typical leader who epitomises the whole constituency, he is also doing his best to touch lives in every community as well as touch lives of all sectional groups in the area. This indiscriminatory attitude has resulted in Mr Arhin introducing projects in different communities in the constituency.

To this end, he started with the district capital, Awutu Beraku, where his organisation, the Eugene Arhin Foundation, built a community library and ICT centre for basic and second cycle students. Under his project, "potable water for all Senior High School children" in the Awutu Senya West Constituency, his foundation has initiated the drilling of a mechanised borehole for Awutu Winton Senior High School.

For the people of Senya Beraku, he refurbished and furnished an uncompleted building to serve as an office accommodation for the Senya District Police Headquarters with office spaces for the District Police Commander, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and other units.

The Senya Senior High School also got a mechanised borehole under his "Potable water for all Senior High School children" project. The school also got a 65-seater bus from GETFund through the lobbying skills of Eugene Arhin.

Guided by his personal motto of living nobody behind, he extended his "Potable water project for all Senior High School children to Obrachira Senior High Technical School, where he also provided the school children with a mechanised borehole.

He also stopped the children of Obodakaba from risking their lives before accessing basic education by building a three unit classroom block for the community.

Just like Jesus Christ, Eugene Arhin is so much preoccupied with tackling the problems of his people that he cannot allow the pending night to stop him.

With prayers for him and sincere cooperation with him, he would impact greater part of the constituency before night falls.
