The former national communications director for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Adomako Baafi has been receiving praises for the passion he has for his party even after being denied a position in the current government.

The latest to add his voice is one of Ghana's popular sports journalists, Dan Kwaku Yeboah, who said if he were the one he would have quit being the party's spokesperson long ago.

Speaking during a discussion on the Accra-based Peace FM’s Kokrokoo morning show on Thursday, July 7, 2022, the ace sports broadcaster argued that he sees no reason why a dedicated person like Adomako Baafi will be ignored while people like Adwoa Sarfo who has vacated her post for a year now is still condoned by the party.

“Look at how the NPP have ignored Adomako Baafi. He has mobilized votes from the grassroots yet he is still there without any position, meanwhile, the Tiktok MP (Adwoa Safo) is made to hold her post after leaving the country to abroad,” he stated in a disappointing tone.

Mr. Dan Kwaku Yeboah further stressed, “Now they have squandered all the good things and you still come here to talk on their behalf, if I were you I would have refused to speak for them.”

Meanwhile, Adomako Baafi has indicated that he is not ready to leave his party but will still speak for the party and die an NPP member.

“I will continue to speak and defend the party. I still love NPP and will die as an NPP member,” he said on the same show on Thursday, July 7, 2022, amidst the suggestions from people urging him to quit.
