TARABA STATE : So, who will speak To the EMPEROR now?

What is happening in Taraba state today would surely be enough to make late Danbaba Sustain, the best civilian governor of Taraba sofar to stir in his grave. I recently returned from Taraba state after a week stay and saw firsthand how my own dear state is now on a shameful, downward, spiral trend.

People there have been afraid to speak up in the face of deceit, fraud and shameless corruption of unimaginable proportion being perpetrated by the present emperor. It is an open secret that those who spoke up against the maladministration in Taraba have either being harassed, silenced, or even assassinated by the emperor.

Taraba State is under siege. It has become a skeleton of its former self. The state has now been turned into a gigantic abattoir were citizens are being slaughtered on slabs like animals, while the emperor looks on with impotence.

The state has become a lawless jungle were the basic laws of preservation are constantly being violated. Taraba State is in the state of a coma. The emperor has attacks the blessing of the people of the state without mercy. He has taken the people of the state from riches to poverty. He has turned the people of the state from good health to perfect infirmity. There is crisis every where. The level of poverty is unprecedented. This emperor behind the wheel of leadership hates seeing people rejoice. He rejoice and celebrate when the people of God are weeping and complaining. He has forced the good people of the state to groan under his evilcratic leadership.

The citizens are groaning with pain. They envy development in other states like Borno, Adamawa, Gombe and Bauchi states while the emperor squander all the money and opportunity it had to develop the state.

While Jalingo the state capital has broken the ignoble record of being the dirtiest capital of Nigeria, other local governments too are fast catching up.

The emperor is above being corrected. He sees himself as the everlasting emperor. Who so ever that crosses his path is dealt with squarely. Any body that opposes his wicked policies losses his investment. Any body that challenges his inhuman actions crushed to death. Any one who reveals his criminal tendencies is treated with scorn.

For the past six years the emperor has been on the throne, he metamorphose in to a MONSTER.

So, who will speak To The MONSTER?

Taraba State House of Assembly, which could win an award as the best rubber stamp legislature in Nigeria, is perpetually silent.

The MONSTER demoted its Speaker, his Deputy and other legislators into errand boys, who report directly to him.

The Nigerian Bar Association, known for mounting spirited legal defence against any abuse of powers, has been humbled.

The Labour union known for its intrepidity has been muzzled.

Traditional Rulers, known for their outspokenness, are now living and ruling with fear. Fear of being dethroned and their staff of office taken away or have their autonomous communities balkanised.

The power and influence which these traditional rulers wielded in the past have been whittled down by the MONSTER.

Gone are the frequent press releases by human right organisations about human rights abuses.

Instead of developing the state, the MONSTER appears to have taken the business of fooling the people to a ridiculous level.

There is no tangible project going on in the state today. But the MONSTER in his recent interview with Channel Television, look himself in the mirror and categorically stated that he has worked in all the 168 wards across the state.

He look himself in the mirror again and says to himself “I am not accountable to any one” and I must get elected into Senate in 2023 even if the people perished.

The MONSTER had a total believe in the bunch of unscrupulous individuals who formed the nucleus of his sadistic government.

People like; (no name will appear) apologies to my readers.

However, the MONSTER never know that these people are Sycophants. He never know that they are bootlickers. He never know that they are food is ready politicians. Having realised that he has nothing with which he can ask for votes in 2023, the MONSTER has grown so desperate that he can kill to go to the senate. His desperation is getting deadly by the day. He finds out that the heavy inducement he doles out to newspapers and editors is yielding dwindling results as he quarrels with more newspapers and editors who come in contact with the fact that the MONSTER has no single project to advertise after six years in office.

So, who will speak To The MONSTER?
