I always fought with my teachers — Obaa Cee reveals reason she quit school

Ghanaian TikTok sensation, Obaa Cee, has opened up about her decision to discontinue her education after Junior High School (JHS).

She made reference to her rebellious nature and strained relationships with teachers as key factors.

In an interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on The Delay Show, Obaa Cee shed light on her troublesome schooling experience, revealing that her defiant behavior often led to conflicts with teachers and peers.

Acknowledging the essence of education, Obaa Cee admitted that her rebellious activities made it challenging for her to thrive in a school environment, ultimately resulting in a loss of interest in class.

"I come from a family of five siblings, and I’m the fourth child. Among the girls, I was the only one who didn’t pursue further education. Life was tough, and I didn’t get along with my teachers either," she recounted.

She added, “To be honest, I caused a lot of trouble; I was very combative and ended up fighting with them, so they [teachers] didn’t want me in their classes.

“I only went to school on Mondays and Tuesdays, spending the rest of the week trading. I completed JHS 3 but didn’t sit for any exams.”
