Ghanaian actor and YouTuber Kwaku Manu has affirmed the past notorious behaviour of his colleague, Dr. Likee, also known as Ras Nene.

The former gangster, now an actor and YouTuber, Ras Nene, in an interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso, popularly known as Delay, opined about his past life.

The comic skit maker disclosed that he used to be a very fearful street lord and drug smuggler before crossing the carpet to filmmaking.

Dr. Likee also recounted how he became close to smoking at the tender age of 8, saying he used to smoke cigarettes and later joined his friend to smoke all manner of hard drugs.

Amid his revelation, Kwaku Manu has corroborated how deadly the repented street lord looked in his prime days.

According to him, no one dared look at Ras Nene twice during that time for fear of being brought down.

"Since I started working in the film industry, I’ve known Nene. You can’t look the Tafo Boys in the eye while they are congregated along the street, including Nene, Tutu, and company.

"Everyone dreaded their team because they were lethal. They were a notorious group of people who enjoyed smoking. When you pass them, you dare not glance at them," Kwaku Manu said.

Recounting his personal experience with Ras Nene and his gang, the actor said in a video posted by ZionFelix, "Each time you use that stretch, you have to keep your neck rigid and go fast past them. I can think of a time when I was with them and was forced to smoke cigarettes. I started acting strange after I smoked, and he told me to quit acting like Mr. Beam."

He spoke about them being introduced to acting at the same time: "At Jones Agyemang (JA) Films, we all met. Even though I gained recognition with him, it looks like I did so first. I can attest to the fact that he has previously assisted me."
