'I want to be like Bandana when I grow up' — A 16-year-old Stonebwoy post pops up

Unsavory social media users have found an old Facebook post by dancehall musician Stonebwoy, and it has sparked a lot of discussions.

In the over 16-year-old post, Stonebwoy expressed his unwavering desire to mature and emulate Shatta Wale, who was known as Bandana at the time.

Stonebwoy gushed over Shatta Wale's success in the Facebook post on January 7, 2006, and prayed to his creator to help him accomplish such a feat in the music business

When he grows up, he says he wants to be like Bandana, a.k.a. Shatta Wale. "When I grow up, I want to be like Bandana. Up up. a Ghanaian bandana."

Before rebranding, Shatta Wale had his moments in the music business. In 2004 he entered the music business as Bandana. After releasing a few successful singles, he vanished for several years before reappearing as Shatta Wale.

Stonebwoy, who was in senior high school then now competes with the dancehall musician on the music scene.
