  • I do 80% of my creative art myself

Ghanaian reggae-dancehall singer, Theophilus Nii Arday Otoo, popularly known by the stage name Epixode, has disclosed he does almost everything concerning the creative aspects of his music.

He is regarded as one of the most talented musicians when it comes to shooting music videos.

He has revealed that he does about 80% of his creative works.

In an interview on the Daybreak Hitz Show, aired on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, which was monitored by Modernghana News, he added that he is a very difficult artist to work with because he can be very difficult sometimes when it comes to choosing the kind of products he wants to present to his fans.

“I make sure I take about 80 percent the creative aspect of the work. I can’t say I do everything. If it has to do anything with my creative piece then I take up 80% of it. I have certain directions and I work with people who understand what I want to do and the kind of product I want to put out. I can be mad and very difficult sometimes, he stated.

Epixode further commended his team who put in much effort to ensure his works are always genuine.

“I want to big up my team for understanding some of my stupid ideas,” he added.

Epixode is currently on a media tour to promote his recently released single 'Atia,' which is a live reggae tune seasoned with a heavy baseline and heart-touching lyrics that explain how he [Epixode] likes his women.

"Atia" is an Akan (Twi) word that translates as "slim" and is mostly used to describe attractive women.
