Ghanaian music producer and sound engineer, Joseph Kwame Addison, popularly known as KillBeatz, has thrown his weight behind King Promise for the coveted Artiste of the Year award at the upcoming 2024 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).
In an interview with JoyNews, KillBeatz expressed unwavering support for King Promise, referencing the musician's outstanding achievements and contributions to the music industry.
He commended King Promise for his recent successful tour in Asia, which he believes has elevated Ghanaian and African music on the global stage.
"This is what we've been waiting for! To take Ghanaian music and African music to another level. And I'm so proud of King Promise," KillBeatz remarked.
He praised King Promise's efforts in promoting cultural exchange through music and representing Ghana with excellence on the global stage.
Asserting King Promise's deservingness of the Artiste of the Year accolade, KillBeatz stated, "There is nobody else. He has to win it! If somebody else wins that award, I don't know what they're trying to say."
King Promise's successful tour in Asia saw him perform sold-out shows in Jakarta, Bali, and Singapore, including making history as the first African artiste to sell out the Tipsy Unicorn Beach Club in Singapore.
His remarkable achievements during the tour further solidified his status as one of Ghana's most prominent musical exports.
Looking ahead, King Promise is gearing up for more international performances, including a tour in Canada, and is set to release a highly anticipated new album.
His recent chart-topping hit, 'Terminator,' has further cemented his position as a leading figure in the Ghanaian music scene.
