After several brows have been raised to the initiative for the Ashiaman Music Awards, organizers have maintained that, the scheme is of great prospect.
Speaking on Zylofon 102.1 FM’s Showbiz Agenda with host, Sammy Flex, a representative of the scheme, Ernest Senu disclosed that, the scheme promises to be fruitful, as it has received huge support from masses within the community.
He stated that, there are several talented musicians within Ashaiman, hence the platform was created to empower them to do better.
The event is scheduled to take place on Friday 31st August at Hotel Biola, based in Ashaiman.
Ernest stated that, the awards are only limited to upcoming musicians, living within the jurisdiction.
He also announced that, as time goes on, neighboring communities, including Tema and Spintex will be included in the scheme.
