Zepto Limited, a wholly Ghanaian company, today launched the new Zepto UmiTab 10.1 two-in-one Tablet Computer in Ghana.

The UmiTab 10.1 comes with an ergonomic keyboard, on-board 3G data access and the full Microsoft productivity offering – Windows 10, Office 365 Mobile and free 1 TB OneDrive access for one year.

Its long battery life and versatile tablet PC form factor make it an attractive option for those looking for an affordable device that provides the full function of a laptop, with the convenience of a tablet.

Charles Ofori, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Zepto Limited, stated: “We're excited about what we are offering Ghanaians today. Not only does the UmiTab 10.1 offer quality at a low price, but it provides Microsoft's familiar, fast and secure software, while our teams across the country will ensure that customers get the technical support and customer service they deserve long after they have purchased the device.”

.
Zepto Limited, which built the first technology production plant in Ghana in 2010, will also be donating 10 UmiTab 10.1 Tablet PCs to the British Council's Skills Hub project, extending its commitment to training and skills development in Ghana.

The devices will contribute to the goal of the British Council and The Rockefeller Foundation to train 1 000 high potential, disadvantaged youth in 2016/2017 to give them skills to start a career in digital industries.

This forms part of the British Council's larger aim of ensuring that young people in Ghana have the right skills to meet their employment or entrepreneurial aspirations.
