Godfred Donsah has topped the ratings of players under the age of 21 years playing in the Italian top league, the rankings of the best young players in Serie A for 2015/16 season shows.
The 19 year old Ghanaian is currently out injured that has hampered his start to life at Bologna but but that has not affected his overall quality as the ratings by the revered Italian sports news outlet, Gazzetta dello Sport revealed.
The rankings which are updated weekly and focuses on the performances of players born after January 1, 1994, rates the overall contribution of the players to their teams on their average appearances in Serie A.
Codenamed the 'New Forces of Italian football' the rankings for this week put Donsah at the top, beating off competition from a host of top players even though the Ghanaian teenage prodigy has made just two appearances this term for his on-loan club.
Donsah has played just a total of 123 minutes for Bologna in Serie A against Sassuolo and Sampdoria with his season hampered by injuries but still tops the average ratings for his displays in those games, according to Gazzetta dello Sport:::
