Accra, June 6, GNA - The 40th annual Unilever Ghana Limited Golf Championship tees off at the Achimota Golf Course in Accra on Saturday, June 12.
Mr Samuel Adetola who announced this in Accra on Sunday, said more than 100 professional and amateur golfers are expected to participate in the one-day 18-Hole Stableford competition, which is opened to members from the Achimota, Tema, Celebrity and Bok Nam Kim Golf clubs. He said the entry requirement for the Men's event is Handicap 18 while that of the Ladies is Handicap 27.
The 54-Hole professionals event would start on Friday, June 11, and end on Saturday, June 12.
Mr Ishmael Yamson, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Unilever Ghana Limited would on the same day commission the rehabilitated Hole Number Nine.
